Background story
Queen Marie Antoinette had an avant garde view towards fashion, during her reign the Queen invented bold and daring trends. One might say she’s the first fashion icon in history; had she been born in this era she would’ve stood out as an innovative influencer. Her sense of design grew broader than fashion, she also designed the breathtaking “Hameau de la Reine” park in the castle of Versailles.

Design approach
Inspired by Queen Marie Antoinette’s gardens and fashion statements we designed the vitrines to take the viewers on a theatrical journey through the Queen’s garden using 6 different scenarios over 6 months. The vitrine consists of an evolving background color with fixed wooden structures that are punctured to be easily animated using earring-like elements.
